Four Focuses that can shift the way we do business

What does it mean to be a visionary woman in business? Visionary means different things to different people. Pause a moment and just see if ‘visionary’ resonates with you.

Do you feel you choose to SEE your business in a different way than many business people you know? If not, would you like to?

For me being a visionary woman in business means I am choosing to see a bigger picture, not just the ‘bottom line’. I am choosing consciously to look at what really matters to me, and in my case, be a ‘seeress’ for my business projects. I am not just taking my cues from the economy or even my own stats - but I am looking into something that is much larger than my own framework. I am looking at an integrated whole of many factors that influence the way I work in the world and how I communicate and when.

Yes it means I have a ‘vision’ for my work in the world, but it is much more than that. Some might say we use our intuition, or we follow trends that aren’t just economic or we choose to look at sustainable ways to grow. Yet for me it is so much more, it is about the heart-set and mind-set that I choose to bring to my projects.

I have been in business with art and education since I was a young woman. I was raised by women entrepreneurs and so that means I was steeped in the strong teabag of independence and revolution. I wanted to make my own way in the world.

I find that I need a framework through which I view all of my projects and it rests in four specific areas. Every project must be SEEN through these for areas - and evaluated. I use what I call ‘GOLD MIND’ as the place I see it in my consciousness. I will share on that another day. For now I am sharing my four practices. See if they resonate with you.
